I have never come across an update for 1 of my games yet since 2007 that is not done before I have had chance to make a cup of tea.

Oh that amazing 3 year warranty MS gave out to it's loyal customers out of the kindness of it's heart...o wait was not to avoid an almost certain recall due to seriously faulty hardware.

Your right almost as crazy as paying extra to play the game you purchased for $60 online.
However this demo and more like it no doubt are just part of a multitude of content PSN + will be getting monthly.
The core monthly content is access to a PSN game, 2 minis and a PS1 game(minis & PS1 games playable on your PS3 & PSP). That is every month for whole year!!

Many xbox fanboys...the mart, power of green, green ring of life, omega I'm looking at you!! have been trying to persuade people on here since the launch of ps3 that every game that as launched as been a flop due to 1st day sales..lol.

why do no people buy games in week 2,3,4 after release.

LBP is one of the few my games my wife will play....but she like me got a platinum trophy and put together quite q few levels of her own.
2 years after purchase we still play to see what new levels have been created...infact when I showed her the collector's edition she did not bat an eyelid about us getting it....I never buy collector's edition but MM deserve every penny for their genius products
My instincts tell me that this a day 1 purchase for me...love Pacific Rift(totally underated imo)...that and WipeOut HD have my driving fix covered...but this beauty looks awesome.
I foresee many hours going into this just like Pacific Rift...can't wait
